Over the past six months, the artist has revisited the spirit of Pure Art—making work driven not by theory, social commentary, or academic frameworks, but by personal feeling and the simple joy of painting. Drawing upon the technical skills he developed during his early years of art education, Wijit embraces a straightforward and honest approach, painting what genuinely resonates with him without concern for trends, expectations, or conventional ideas of beauty.

“Mommy Hug” is a reflection on memory, love, and the enduring bonds that shape our lives. Through the works of Tawee Ratchaneekorn, Thailand’s National Artist in Visual Arts, the exhibition explores the emotional foundations of human experience while revealing the artist’s lifelong engagement with society and history.
