ใกล้บ้าน (Close to Home)

Ks.Landy is an artist whose practice centers on painting natural landscapes and scenes of rural life. The inspiration behind this body of work began when he returned to live in Nong Khai, the province where he was born and raised, after years of living and studying in the city. Returning home allowed him to quietly notice how familiar places had gradually changed through the dynamics of modern life.

Everything has a name

As time goes by, you begin to reflect on many things: your relationship with yourself, your relationships with others, which people to avoid, which situations to ignore, and— as an artist— which works to make. I came to the realization that I wanted to create a piece that would make me fall in love with art again, just as I did when I first started out as an artist. I am drawn to artworks that make me laugh, works that are silly, slightly perverted, and playful, as well as pieces that use everyday objects. What you see here are some of my pieces that I collected first in my journal then bring it out for you to see.

Rhythm of My Colors #1

Both music and visual art are disciplines that share profound similarities when viewed through their underlying structures. Symbols and meanings of sound can be conveyed through composition, harmony, and emotional expression without the need for words. When we listen to instrumental music, we are able to perceive sorrow, joy, love, or even rage—purely through sound.

บูรณา BURANA

Burana invites viewers to reconsider the idea of “completeness” not as a finished state, but as an ongoing process of repair, adaptation, and reconstruction. The exhibition presents a series of paintings that capture transitional moments of architecture and culture, situated between a veiled past and a continually evolving present.

SAWADEE

One of the first things a tourist learns in Thailand are the words “Sawadee” combined with the wai gesture. It originated over 2000 years ago in Hinduism with the Añjali Mudrā gesture, which accompanies “namaste” and was adopted by Buddhism.
