Using the motifs of gods and divine beasts that spread throughout Japan and Asia, we
visualize and express invisible beings and energies from a unique perspective. The invisible
beings and mysterious powers that I depict are rooted in nature worship (animism) and Asian
mythology and thought.
Culture has evolved since the days when humans and invisible beings lived side by side, and
we are no longer conscious of their existence. That’s why I want to express invisible existence
through art in a way that makes people feel closer to it.
