Kao Gang Kraree Tonkatsu

Since I was a kid, my whole life has been influenced by Japanese culture through various mediums. Whether by reading manga such as One Piece, Doraemon, Death Note, and Eyeshield 21, or by listening to music from artists like X-Japan, L’arc~en~ciel, and YUI.

It’s not surprising that many of my artworks incorporate numerous Japanese references.

Kao~Hoong is a character I created, inspired by Thailand’s rice with a topping on its head, aimed at representing Thai culture in a relatable manner. By reflecting our shared cultural experience through food, particularly rice, I also plan to delve into creating diverse designs inspired by Japanese cuisine.
